Microsoft Promises a Faster Windows 11 Experience for 8 GB PCs With Memory Optimization Upgrade

For those not using a cutting-edge PC configuration, Microsoft has some good news coming their way. In continuation with their commitment to make their premier operating system more efficient, the company is now moving forward with plans to make Windows 11 much faster and more responsive for computers equipped with only 8 GB of RAM.

The news has come straight from the horse’s mouth from Microsoft’s Pavan Davuluri, who gave an update on their March-launched initiative. Initially, the technology giant decided to focus on eliminating user pain points that include taskbar customization, minimizing Windows Update interruptions, improving the speed of File Explorer, making the Insider Program simpler, and tweaking the widgets.

Even though the majority of their promises have been fulfilled and delivered in beta form to testers, who will soon get their hands on it this fall, Microsoft believed that their performance improvement promise was not enough. In order to remedy concerns regarding system slowness in reality, Microsoft is introducing four important development priorities for its operating system: simplified out-of-box configuration, enhanced family safety options, more intuitive voice interactions, and memory optimization.

In particular, one of the core objectives of the company in its new initiative is to make sure that the minimum memory footprint of Windows 11 guarantees sufficient space for multitasking from background operations. This tuning of the operating system will prove beneficial for the many users of inexpensive laptops and ordinary office employees, allowing them to enjoy a more responsive desktop computer without any need to replace the hardware immediately.

As the demands for software continue to increase within the industry, the optimization of current systems guarantees that regular users don’t have to upgrade their hardware prematurely to enjoy a smooth browsing experience. Striking a balance between state-of-the-art features and efficient performance is what builds trust and makes Windows 11 an even more realistic choice for desktop computers worldwide.
